In this part of the game you have to infiltrate your gang's cafe and plant a bug without anyone seeing you. There are guards at the doorways who greet Wei if he gets too close, after which you get Mission Failed if you proceed further (or at the very least, the prompt to plant the bug is disabled). But you can park a bus right next to the back alley guard to jump over the fence unnoticed, allowing a more direct route to your destination.

...it's not such a big deal, since doing it normally doesn't take too much time either. If you're very quick in finding and parking a big car, you might save some seconds.

As a bonus clip, there's another attempt in which all of the guards inside the cafe unloaded mysteriously, allowing Wei to even leave the cafe without anyone minding him, and the countdown timer became disabled.

EDIT: apparently there is another way to get around the guard, even without having to resort to big cars and jumping over fences. The SDA thread of Sleeping Dogs has some more info.
