Max Payne 1 2001 Walkthrough / Playthrough on PS2!
Max Payne 2001 - Fantastically fun game with fast, solid gameplay and a fun story with some of the darkest, yet most wholesome cutscenes i've ever experienced in a video game. Max Payne is a delight to play, with a high level of replay value due to the sheer number of weapons Max can obtain.
Wife and kid dead, Max Payne travels across the darkest and most dangerous locations of New York City to find those responsible. Drug lords, Kingpins, thugs, bad cops... all of them. Nobody is safe from Max Payne and his awkward smile.
The cutscenes are told in comic book form and have a wonderfully cute way of expressing themselves through the artwork, with fantastic detail in the characters faces bringing the whole cast to life.
I mentioned earlier that Max Payne was wholesome and I meant it. The characters all seem as if they were the directors friends and family, lending their image to the cast, making even the meanest crime boss look like that nerdy kid from school that always offers to share his sandwiches when he has extra. It's truly adorable.
I loved this title and the atmosphere it has. While I felt the game can be a bit cheap towards the end and the length personally a bit long; overall it was a joy and i'm sure Max Payne 2 & 3 will be just as impressive. I can't wait to get my hands on them.
Max Payne as a character is a true badass. I'd love to watch a TV series or movie done right on him. Or, better yet; bring out more Max Payne titles! The game series clearly deserves it. Enjoy the Max Payne walkthrough! Thank you Remedy Entertainment!
