As Nigerian workers join their counterparts around the world to celebrate this year's May Day, some of them have decried what they described as the harsh economic condition in the country

Channel Network Afrique was in the streets of Abuja to gauge the pulse of the workers on a day set aside to celebrate their contributions to the economic prosperity of the nation.

Some of them, lamented the present economic realities and hardship, insisting that the 30,000 naira minimum wage is no longer realistic, hence the need for an upward review.
