The FSND McDonnell Douglas MD-83 add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X developed by the team at FSND.

This version 2 model is FSX native which means it's not an FS2004 port-over - it is an aircraft created specifically for FSX with all of the FSX SDK features included.

The aircraft model includes a fully functional 3D virtual cockpit (VC), 2D panel (for simmers that prefer this) and a working APU system.

Also included is a working FMC (flight management computer) and an ultra-realistic 3D model with advanced animations, working windshield wipers, and fully animated wing-flex.

Some say this is the best freeware MD-83 there is available without going for payware.

The file is released as freeware which means it is free to download and use.

Compatible with all versions of FSX including the Steam Edition.
