McKidd Plays - Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back part 8
Part 8 - A Bandicoot's Job is Never Done with Backtracking!
Continuing on with his crystal gathering quest, Crash Bandicoot takes a trip to a rather painful level to go through, "Diggin' It" which is like "Bee-having" but with two pathways that if one is undertook, the other should be done going back. However, as Crash died before getting on the skull & crossbones platform (leading to the level's death route), I show off a trick that I always use if I don't make it to the platform if Crash bites the bullet as that death path has not only boxes for the box gem, but also the secret gem too. This part also shows off me getting the gems from "Road to Ruin," "Air Crash" (finally!) and the secret gem from "Sewer or Later." Crash's worst fear is yet to come when he encounters the most infamous level of the game (and the classic PS1 Crash Bandicoot trilogy) next time.
One year after his defeat, Cortex comes up with a scheme to fool Crash Bandicoot into striking up an alliance to collect Crystals in order to stop a planetary alignment from destroying Earth by channelling the energy from it, but what will result from it? Well, it is time to play the sequel of the marsupial's debut, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back.
