모듈형 메카를 제작하여 괴수 군단에 맞서는 턴제 전략 로그라이크 게임입니다. 트랜스포트, 바디, 무기 세 가지 파츠를 조합해 나만의 메카를 설계하고, 제한된 자원 속에서 전략적으로 부대를 편성하여 한 번뿐인 여정을 시작하게 됩니다.
게임의 중심은 '청사진-제작-배치'라는 구조에 있습니다. 시작 시 보유한 크레딧으로 초반용 파츠를 선택하고 이를 조합해 첫 메카 청사진을 만들 수 있습니다. 이후 전투나 수집 지점에서 에너지와 크레딧을 모아 새로운 파츠를 획득하거나 청사진을 확장하며 점차 강력한 메카 부대를 갖추게 되죠. 단, 각 파츠마다 제작 가능 횟수가 정해져 있어 조합 선택이 굉장히 중요합니다.
전투는 턴제로 진행되며, 매 턴 아군 메카가 우선적으로 행동하고 이후 괴수들이 움직입니다. 메카는 이동 및 공격 외에도 전투 중 실시간으로 추가 제작이 가능하며, 이를 통해 다양한 전술적 대응이 가능하죠. 적의 이동 범위와 공격 범위도 명확하게 표시되기에 예측 기반의 전술 플레이가 핵심입니다. 일부 지형은 비행형 파츠가 있어야만 통과할 수 있는 등 맵 구성도 전투 전략에 큰 영향을 줍니다.
전투 종료 후에는 발전기를 통해 에너지를 얻고, 그 자원으로 새 메카를 제작하거나 기존 파츠를 업그레이드할 수 있습니다. 반복적인 전투를 통해 점점 더 강력한 조합을 만들어야 하며, 최종적으로는 맵 끝에 등장하는 보스를 처치해 다음 구역으로 넘어가야 하죠. 보스를 처치하면 특수한 익스펜션 보상을 통해 부대의 전력을 강화할 수 있습니다.
게임이 종료되면 메타 에너지를 통해 영구적인 업그레이드를 진행하거나 새로운 파츠를 해금할 수 있습니다. 발전기 수 증가, 최대 메카 수 확장, 보상량 증가 등 반복 플레이의 보상이 확실히 설정되어 있죠.
다만, 인터페이스 구성에서 일부 버튼 배치가 직관적이지 않아 혼란을 줄 수 있고, 수리 시스템 부재나 보스 보상의 박탈감, 생존 미션의 지나치게 불합리한 난이도 등은 다소 아쉬운 부분으로 남습니다.
전략적 유닛 조합, 자원 관리, 턴제 전투의 재미를 한 데 담아낸 Mech Armada는 전술적 깊이와 빌드 다양성을 모두 갖춘 로그라이크 전투 시뮬레이션입니다.

Mech Armada is a tactical roguelike where you design custom mechs to battle through hordes of monstrous enemies in turn-based encounters. Combine transport systems, core bodies, and weapon modules to build modular war machines tailored to your strategy.
Every run begins with a limited credit pool, letting you pick a few starter parts and draft your first blueprint. As you progress, you'll earn more energy and credits from combat and resource nodes to unlock random new parts and upgrade your existing lineup. Each mech has a build limit depending on the part rarity, so team composition demands foresight.
Combat plays out in classic turn-based style—your mechs act first, followed by enemy monsters. Positioning is vital: enemies telegraph their movement and attack zones, allowing for careful planning. You can also build new mechs mid-battle if you have the energy, enabling reactive strategies. Some zones require flying parts to reach or avoid hazards, adding more layers to tactical decisions.
After battle, energy and credits are gained passively and can be spent to expand your army, upgrade parts, or unlock new blueprints. Every map culminates in a boss battle, rewarding you with a powerful expansion module if you survive. Surviving long enough unlocks meta energy, used for permanent upgrades and new part unlocks—enhancing your power in future runs.
While the game offers depth and replayability, UI clarity can falter during navigation, and survival missions feel unbalanced at times due to limited space and overpowered enemy stats. Also, the lack of a repair system and modest boss rewards may frustrate progression-focused players.
Still, with its compelling part-based mech building and high-stakes turn-based strategy, Mech Armada delivers a satisfying blend of tactical planning and roguelike challenge.
