The Annihilator has been known throughout BattleTech as a whole as a fearsome assault mech with deadly firepower, and It does not disappoint in MWO, even after the armor changes made years ago. With a large amount of ballistic firepower at one's hands, the mech can single handedly turn the tides of battle, but it does require certain situations and a smart pilot to make the best of it all.

I take a somewhat difficult build today, RACs and Gauss. Most people would think UACs are better, which they are, but I prefer the Gauss Rifles as they are heat neutral, and, combined with the power of the RACs, can make for a very steady and strong front-line mech (it's also worth noting I have the worst luck with UACs as of the past year or so).

Expenses: 4-7+ Million Cbills to Refit, on top of Purchase of Mech

Role: Front-Line Dakka/Suppressing mech*

*: Suppressing mechs refer to a niche role that very few mechs can make use of properly, in this case, the Annhilator's ability to output consistent damage with the RACs while also simultaneously being able to put down good pin point damage from the Gauss Rifles allows it to switch between targets very quickly, and with good efficiency if the pilot's aim is good.
