The Dervish is often known to be a missile platform in a majority of it's variants, save for the 6MR; the 6MR servers as an alternative Medium Pulse Laser boat that has functioned as a substitute for the more competitive Vulcan and Assassin. The Dervish draws it's tankiness from the fact that equipping weapons in it's torsos provide it with a 20% damage reduction as it retains missile bay doors, however, the damage reduction doesn't extend to the arms of the mech, where a majority of it's firepower rests. As such, pilots should be careful of the opponents they face, and make use of the terrain and it's hand actuators to shoot up, or down at opponents.
