So I went into this blind and that run was around 7+ hours. I decided after I started downloading that I wanted to just take the knowledge I discovered and just run it faster.

I'll mention some of the gripes I had, as I think they can be pretty apparent.

This games camera is just something else. The fact it can even not be turned by you sucks at times, as some locations aren't really that great in their fixed type angle. It can lead to some pretty cheap hits and frustrating moments. At one point on the pirate ship on this run, I just wanted to get in the cage and across after chalice. He just didn't wanna get in there, fell, fell again, warps me to the bottom punishment area. Not a fun time.

Equipment is a bit of a mess, I'd say maybe like 4-5 items at most were really used after a certain point, but not much you can really do about that.

Some of the solutions didn't really make much sense or just expected you to do things without any incentive. Like the final boss originally I died on from the skeleton war fight. I didn't know what to do, the answer was in the chest. Now, up to this point, chests usually had a club, copper shield or silver shield, which I believe one of those did actually have. So the game trains you to think these are just gonna have some item not really worth much to bother. Not some completely relevant item you HAVE to have. They did something similar at the castle, where they never had you put out fires, but they expected you to just start smashing them with a hammer as a solution, like it was obvious. I searched the area for the same type of puzzle solving the game did throughout, to just look it up. Such a odd departure from both itself and just not mentioning it, like they did pretty much everything else with the text or heads. Maybe he mentioned it, but I only really recall him saying don't alert the guards, not smash fire with hammer.

The attacks are just weird. Most levels are pretty uneven, so the base spin can just whiff. The immunity on some of the mobs is just absurd, those guys after the boat ride just ignored the axe so much Xd Attacking me? I'm still guarding apparently! Got some good use out of the shield though by comparison, barely used it first run.

Gold was used a lot more then my last run, had 2.5k then, think it was like 600+ here. Most of the weapons just aren't really all that great. More of a have to use kinda situation. First ones introduced are reasonable for their time, when you get the bow, it kinda starts going down hill. Used fire alot, spear sometimes, magic not much at all and bow I think was pretty scarce.

It's a fun game and was a lot better then my initial, but it really sucks that the camera is the way it is. With how the controls are and how the camera can violently jerk around at times, like I said, just pretty frustrating.

While I skipped all of it but the ending, the story is pretty good and funny. Combat is good despite the camera at times. While eventually it's just like, "SWORD!" the swapping of weapons to be most effective is done well. If you decide to do so, ranged works ok. Trying to switch targets while not getting harmed is pretty obnoxious at times, but doesn't happen often for a big issue. Bosses are fine. The only one I think is a bit cheesy is the 2 demons, not even for them, but the platform just launching you off Xd Most are kinda on the easy side, but kinda silly to say when you get everything.

Worth playing for sure.
