Seems like the ex-WWW members aren't quite giving up on getting a Cybeast. But instead of going after Mega Man, they're going after the other one. And in order to get that, they plan to use Iris. So they attack Lan to lure her out and capture her. Then they use her as bait to get to Baryl and try to off him. We find them at the heliport in Sky Town, when Mr. Mach shows up to save Baryl, and us as well. He gives us his reason for why he's so loyal to Baryl and WWW despite some of his actions recently, and then leaves with Baryl.

Also, note that Mega Man didn't say a single word in this entire part. __
