So before we start the end of Battle Network 6, we're taking a detour to the WonderSwan, with Rockman EXE WS. Never released in the US, but a translation patch was released a few years ago. Find it here: https://www.romhacking.net/translations/1751/

Anyway, this game is a bit odd as it MOSTLY follows the Anime's version of events, although it's also EXTREMELY abridged since you can beat this game in less than an hour. And not everything is entirely connected, as the main antagonists are WWW, but some areas will be completely unrelated. There are splits at certain levels that will take you to different stages, complete with different bosses. This is to create incentive to replay the game, and is encouraged as it's the only way to 100% everything.

So, this game is a sidescroller, much like Network Transmission. However, unlike in that game, your Buster will be your main source of damage here, unlike chips. Because in this game, Battle Chips are more "One-and-Done" in use, unless it's a utility chip like AirShoes. No navi chips or anything like that, but there are Style Changes, which show up in the second half. Which one you get is based on which boss you fight, but they offer different boosts.
