Mega Man Maker - MST Season 2 Week 5 - Favorites Week
0This week was Favorites Week which meant that the creators could only use ten assets total for their stage (the number of Favorite Asset slots in the level builder). Overall this week was much better than the last two...until the end.
First off, the boss fight in the ninth level was a bit troublesome but with the help of an E-Tank it was manageable. Then came the tenth level which was my least favorite by far. Somehow I was able to finally finish it and end with a decent time...until I learned something that really pissed me off. After I ended the local recording I raided the MegaSpeedruns twitch channel to watch the last couple of racers who were being restreamed and noticed one of them was on a level I didn't recognize. I started to fire the game back up to see if I had missed a level and it turns out I did...LEVEL ELEVEN!!!
No other week has had eleven levels and when I go to the next level I always scroll down to make sure I didn't miss a level, and we were not told there were 11 levels. For the record, the 11th level was by far my least favorite level and because of it, this week was my first DNF. Not gonna lie, as frustrating as a couple of the past weeks have been, I have never been so tilted at a race level as this week. I forgot to restart the local recording for it but it didn't matter since I didn't finish it anyway.
