The only thing that prevents this from being a true 100% is the fact that the Dragon Punch powerup wasn't there. Because, apparently, you need to be at full life when you arrive, so I needed to use a subtank on the slide down. Sigh. Other than that, I DID pick up everything, and I visited the location, so I'm still gonna count it. Disappointed I couldn't show it off.
But there, after much struggle through the entire thing, there's Mega Man X2 completed. Whew. That one was a step up, at least for casual play. I'm not sure I liked the hiding spots for things, especially the invisible heart piece in the weather control stage. And I think having things be not QUITE on the extremes would have been more useful. But even I said X1 was a bit too easy, so maybe this was just Capcom compensating.
