Mega Man Zero 3 - 100 Point S Rank Run [Part 4]
380This is part 4 of my 100 point S rank run of Mega Man Zero 3. Since all EX Skills are obtained by this point it's the perfect chance to showcase quick and stylish ways to defeat the bosses in their rematches in the final level. Here are the notes for this part.
-I haven't mentioned it yet but there is an armor combination that allows you to cancel the triple slash directly into Split Heavens with no lag, using the Normal Helmet, Lightweight Body and Quick Foot chips in tandem will grant this effect. This means you don't have access to elemental augments on your EX Skill so it's best used on non-elemental bosses such as the Phantom fight in Sub Arcadia. Using this ultra fast combo you can deplete Phantom's health in seconds and give him absolutely no chance in the fight.
-Sub Arcadia is another stage I really love, it seems almost perfectly designed for the usage of Reflect Laser, without question most stylish Buster EX Skill in the series. In case you weren't aware you can choose the direction of the first bounce by holding either up or down on the dpad as you release the shot.
-The final stage is where I go all out and try to create fast and stylish methods of beating the bosses again. MMZ3 is unique in that skipping a cutscene resets the RNG seed to 0 meaning that if you perform the same actions within a fight you will get the same result every time. This allows players to choreograph fights instead of playing in a reactive fashion and really push their attack sequences to the limit. I've been using this during the whole game of course but it's most prominent here since you fight 11 bosses in the level.
