*NOTE: Before starting this mission, I HIGHLY recommend you max out your weapons and cyber elves. You can do so by heading back to the desert area and fighting the sand snakes at the end, of which there are around 15 and which only drop crystals (use the birds for health). That way, not only will you have an easier time with the final boss but you'll unlock additional extras at the end of the game.

Welcome to my newest walkthrough: Mega Man Zero! This series is a continuation of the Mega Man X series, set 100 years in the future (around 22XX). Zero has been shut down for quite some time and is awoken by Ciel, who proclaims Reploids are now being hunted and asks for his help. Who are we to say no?

Rather than take on bosses, Zero takes on various missions to help Ciel, such as retrieving data or protecting the base (though most missions end with fighting a boss). You also have a few weapons, such as Zero's buster and sword, that can be upgraded with use. There are also collectable Cyber Elves to find in the game, which can give you a bonus such as health restoration or cyber tanks (though once you use a Cyber Elf it's gone forever).

In this video walkthrough, I'll take you through all 16 missions, grabbing all available cyber elves along the way as well as maxing out them and all of the weapons. I will also show you how to unlock both Hard mode and Ultimate mode. However, I will not be going for S ranks in this walkthrough.

In the final mission, we head into the core of Neo Arcadia where we refight many of the game's bosses. We then wrap up by taking on our old friend X and destroying him once and for all. The remainder of the video is spent unlocking the extra modes.

In order to unlock both Jackson and Hard mode, you must have all cyber elves maxed out and have not used any of them. Once you beat the final boss, you will get a message stating that you unlocked Hard mode. Save your clear data and load it and you will have all cyber elves still maxed out but with Jackson available as well. Make sure to max him out too.

In order to unlock Ultimate mode, you must use all maxed out elves in one playthrough. After powering up Jackson, go to the teleporter and click "download Elf". From there, go into your pause menu and click on the elves in your menu to use them. Once you use all of your elves, beat the game once more (much easier this time) and you'll get a message telling you that you've unlocked Ultimate mode, which gives you all of your cyber elves back but with all of their powers active.
