Mega Man ZX-100% Hard Mode Walkthrough Area D: Destroy Model W (Aile)-[No Damage + Ending Credits]

Well, it's time for the final area and it certainly was very difficult on Hard Mode. Serpent was more harder in his first form here compared to on normal mode as he's more faster especially his shots, so make sure to take to the walls as soon as the fight starts. His 2nd form though, is still just as easy as it was in normal mode. Model HX's tornado in overdrive mode makes the fight a nonissue and kills Serpent in seconds. And with that out of that way, ZX is finally completed! Man, this was not only challenging to do, but also long due to the backtracking with gathering and doing everything. ZX is a good game and one that I hold many good memories with, but I do have some criticisms with. To start off, the map system in this game is not very good and can often leave new players confused on not knowing where to go. Thankfully advent improves on this, but here in ZX it's very rough. Two, the lives system should not be in a game like this. Since this is the franchise's first metroidvania, they just feel unneeded especially since we have the data rooms where you can just save your game at any point in time. Three, while I like the data rooms, I did not like how far apart they are from each other during the missions. The boss fights while cool, my issue is the weak point system where you have to be cautious of where you hit them otherwise you risk hitting the biometal, it feels like it's restricting the player unlike the Zero games where you had the most creative ways in tackling a boss. Traversal in this game was okay but I wish you had total free exploring as sometimes the game can make things restrictive. The level design and enemy placement can also feel pretty cheap at times, (looking at you Area I and Area H). Other than that, ZX is a good game. Advent is next, but I'm going to need a little bit of a break guys, so see you then and thanks for watching!
