Spread the explosion and melt everything down. It's a real action-packed deal within nice features in this arcade-shooter mobile game called Meltdown. Your goal here is to control your main character and finish the missions successfully. Follow the objectives in the missions in order to complete them. Shoot all the enemy robots you will find in the area. Shoot the crates and pick up the power ups to gain advantage against yours enemies. And if you're close enough on the robots, you can start stabbing them with your melee weapon. Collect cash from your missions and visit the shop to arm yourself with new weapons.

Overview

Meltdown is an action packed shooter played in top down isometric view, the story goes that the world is ruled by robots and AIs, your mission will be to penetrate the enemy base all through the core and defeat Megaframe...shut it down permanently so to speak, you will take on the role of a soldier and carry out your mission by all means possible...failure is not an option, the game allows you to play offline single player and online multiplayer, whichever you choose to play, it's going to be an intense shootout and explosive battle from start to finish, the game has 30 randomly generated levels, each one of them designed to challenge your combat skills and strategic actions, there are a total of 15 weapons in the game, 10 are ranged weapons and 5 are melee types, each one of them comes with upgrades to make them more effective against the enemies, not to mention the three classes of soldiers that you can use, truly an adventure worth taking, so are you up to the challenge?, do you have the determination and skills to shut down the AI and wrest control of the world back to the humans?, play the game and find out for yourself.

Graphics and Sound

Meltdown has stunning graphics, the characters are cartoony but have nice designs, environments are also great, there is very high details on the structures and designs are futuristic, I also like the randomly generated levels, it really changes a bit every time, colors are nice here, the game has vivid and sharp colors to boast, and it is evident in all the levels, animations are also cool, character movements are smooth and moving parts like projectiles and others are fluid, music and sounds are also cool, the game soundtrack is very nice and the sound effects are quite bombastic, very nice indeed as it kinda excites you when you play the game, special effects are great, combat is quite awesome due to the flashy weapon effects and cool explosions, overall, the game simply looks gorgeous with its cool visuals and cartoony presentations and designs.

Gameplay

Meltdown is not your ordinary shooter, both the character and the weapons have their own skill trees for you to develop, the more you level up, the stronger your character gets and the more powerful your weapons become, your character can wield a couple of ranged weapon and a melee weapon, make sure to equip and use the appropriate one when a battle ensues as the outcome depends on what you have to throw at the enemies, the goal on every level is generally the same, it is to reach the end while killing all the enemies you encounter, coins and upgrade cards are dropped when you kill enemies, make sure to collect as many as you can as you'll need them to buy those cooler items and upgrades, I used the virtual thumbstick and virtual buttons when I played this game, I think this is best from the various options being offered.

Conclusion

Meltdown is quite fun, I kinda tried playing all the character classes available and I had fun each time, I enjoyed upgrading each of the character skills available inasmuch as I enjoyed unlocking and upgrading the weapons, check it out if you haven't played it yet, if you dig shooters, you'll love this one for sure.
