Overview
Gunslugs 2 is an arcade type action packed game and a sequel to the hit game Gunslugs, the story goes that the world is under attack...again, by giant spiders, aliens, tanks and many more...the world is in need of a hero and you're going to be that hero, gameplay is chaotic and explosive, weird and even hilarious...most of the time, anyway, the Black Duck Army is at it again, and this time, they have put into motion a domination plan that will surely put the whole world under their control...but you just won't let them would you?, and thus, the adventure begins, the game features 7 worlds for you to explore with each one of them having 8 levels each and a big bad ass boss at the end of the level, you need to traverse the different worlds in the game and destroy all the enemy towers to defeat the Black Duck Army once and for all, it's going to be tough as you'll face all kinds of monstrosities and weirdness...but you're the Gunlugs and you'll do everything you can to destroy the enemies that get in the way, so come on and join the adventure...and weirdness...take control of the Gunslugs and defeat the enemies once and for all...send them back to where they came from here in Gunslugs 2.
Graphics and Sound
Gunslugs 2 has 2D graphics and side scrolling, the character designs are cartoony but really looks pretty and nice, if you have seen and played Metal Slug, the graphic designs look just like it, environments are very nice, it looks unique and varied, all the locations looks distinctly different from the others, the foreground is detailed and in full color while the backdrops are in silhouettes, it has a nice contrast if I may say so, colors are also great, everything is simply sharp and crisp, music and sounds are also cool, the game soundtrack is very nice and the sound effects are quite bombastic, kinda excites you when you are playing the game, special effects are also cool, weapon fire looks great and explosions are quite pretty, it becomes really chaotic when the battle heats up, overall, although the game is 2D, it still managed to look nice and pretty...must be the retro appeal of the game.
Gameplay
Gunslugs 2 is a shooter, a chaotic shooter to be precise, and as such, you will be battling the variety of enemies across the different worlds, besides the regular enemies that you will encounter along the way, there will be level bosses at the end of the level, this enemies are bigger and tougher, and if you're not quick to react and well equipped, your character will be blown to pieces very quickly, your main goal is to destroy the enemy towers, and as you destroy the towers, the more powerful your character becomes and newer and stronger weapons become available for you to use, controls are simple and easy too, you only need to move right or left and shoot and jump...really simple for everyone to play.

Gunslugs 2 features and action packed gameplay, it has beautiful retro graphics, there are a lot of characters in the game and a lot of weapons too, there are also a total of 7 worlds with 8 levels and level bosses in the game, most of all, the game has simple and easy to use controls for everyone to enjoy.
Conclusion
Gunslugs 2 is reminiscent of Metal Slug as the presentation is just like it, I really enjoyed this one as I really like the chaotic shooting, you can enter a level with all guns blazing and shooting everything that moves...if you dig retro shooters, this game is a must play.
