Memorial Series: Sunsoft Vol. 2 - Route-16 - Turbo & Atlantis no Nazo - PlayStation Gameplay
1Released exclusively in Japan, the Memorial Star Series is a series that focused on re-releasing Famicom games from Sunsoft. It had six volumes between 2001 and 2002, with two games included in each volume. (Which brings to a total of 12 games). Besides two re-releases of Famicom games, each volume also comes with a jukebox and a quiz mode to test your knowledge of the featured games.
This volume contains the following games: Route-16 - Turbo and Atlantis no Nazo (The Mystery of Atlantis). Route-16 was originally an arcade game. While the Famicom port was only released in Japan, it did get a port in the west for the Emerson Arcadia 2001. Though Atlantis no Nazo was never released outside of Japan, a partially translated version titled Super Pitfall 2 was under development by Activision for release in North America, which was eventually scrapped.
