Memory lost is a top down view beat-em-up that is ultimately a fairly enjoyable experience. albeit one that lacks a lot of polish and is frustrating at times.
Memory Lost is not the prettiest game on the block. It is not the most polished game either. Nor does it have an immaculate level of dialogue or story to tell.
The gameplay is fairly smooth with some performance hitches here and there, but overall not too buggy.
The audio design is fair, but the music is quite enjoyable. The key gameplay mechanic is that you can transfer into most enemies after you defeat them, including larger enemies that do good AOE damage. The more you transfer back to back, the more health you regenerate.
There are a decent amount of enemy types but not many. The checkpoint system saves your progress often enough.
Overall, if you find it on a sale and you like the genre, I can recommend the game. Otherwise, not so much.
