Metal Dungeon Xbox Intro + Gameplay [No Commentary]
I have a ton of games in my backlog that I've either never played or played very little. So I thought it might be fun to sample semi-random games and upload them so everyone can see how terrible I am at them!
So here we have a game called Metal Dungeon for the Xbox. It was developed by Panther Software and published in North America by Xicat Interactive in 2002. I knew going into this game that it was supposed to be pretty bad, but after giving it a shot, I'm a little conflicted on it. I generally enjoy dungeon crawlers and this one provides a nice change of pace from the typical fantasy setting. The combat system is really simplistic in that you don't really do anything. You simply set your characters to automatically do whatever, but you can issue one-off commands as needed. The default combat speed was waaaay too slow, so as you watch the video, you'll see the speed picks up a bit. I captured this video on an original Xbox.
