Top Gear Overdrive N64 Gameplay [No Commentary]
4I have a ton of games in my backlog that I've either never played or played very little. So I thought it might be fun to sample semi-random games and upload them so everyone can see how terrible I am at them!
So here we have a game called Top Gear Overdrive for the Nintendo 64. It was developed by Snowblind Studios and published in North America by Kemco in 1998. I've been interested in the Top Gear games on the N64 for a while now, so I decided to give this one a shot. As you'll see in the video, I was pretty bad at the game, but I thought it was actually quite fun. I ended up playing it for a while longer after I stopped recording and will definitely revisit it at some point. It's a pretty standard late '90s arcade-style racer, but I love those. One interesting thing is that I had no idea Snowblind Studios developed this game. I really enjoyed Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and didn't realize they did a couple of racing games before it (Top Gear Hyper Bike being the other one). I captured this video on an Nintendo 64.
