Metal Gear Rising: Phresh Ninja - Enhanced Graphics in 2023 [RTX 4070, Core i9, 4K, 60 FPS]
1Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was originally released in 2013 on the Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 consoles. I'm showing it off now 10 years later with graphical enhancments that pretty much make this an unofficial Remaster much like what I've shown in Spec Ops, and Wolverine and other older generation games that I've posted. It is not an official Remaster that is being sold. I have brought the real Phresh Ninja to life using Black & Green themed mods. I've elevated my game modding since the last video for Spec Ops. In this one, I had to do quite a few more steps and even learned how to officially mod using an app called TexMod over a span of 2 days. Game purists should steer clear of my video because not only have I changed the graphics, I've also replaced the original Japanese pop-rock music. Negative comments will be obliterated. The game plays similarly to the Ninja Gaiden series with fast paced action and close quarter combat with martial arts and melee weapons.

Graphics & Enhancements:
- 4K Ultra HD 2160p enabled. Originally 1080p.
- High frame-rate locked. Originally 50 to 60 fps variable.
- Filmic Noise and dithering removed. Originally enabled.
- More relaxed Camera angles. Originally off-center and moved around more.
- Motion Blur disabled for crisper image quality. Originally enabled.
- 60 frames per second micro-stutter fix. Originally stuttered every few seconds.
- added Black & Green themed sword and back sheath.
- added Black & Green themed Cyborg armor for Raiden.
- added permanent visor face-shield for Raiden during combat.
- added Black & Green themed Cyborg armor for Gray Fox.
- Cheats enabled.
This is not a tutorial video. I won't be detailing how to apply the modifications but simply want to show that I've already put them into the game. I've edited and created the Black & Green mods myself and therefore they are totally unique and nobody else has them (for now).
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Platinum Games and published by Konami. It was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in February 2013, Windows and OS X in January and September 2014, and Nvidia Shield TV in January 2016. It is a spin-off in the Metal Gear series, set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. In the game, the player controls returning Metal Gear character Raiden as he confronts a private military company that wants to destabilize peaceful nations for profit. The gameplay focuses on fighting enemies using a sword and other weapons to perform combos and counterattacks. Through the use of Blade Mode, Raiden can cut cyborgs in slow motion and steal parts stored in their bodies. The series' usual stealth elements are also optional to reduce combat.
The game was originally being developed internally by Kojima Productions, who announced the game in 2009 under the title of Metal Gear Solid: Rising. However, the team met with difficulties in developing a game based on swordplay, so supervising director Hideo Kojima postponed its development until a solution could be found. The project resurfaced in late 2011 under its finalized title, with PlatinumGames as the new developer. The game underwent significant changes in its play mechanics and storyline under PlatinumGames' involvement, although Kojima Productions retained responsibility for the game's overall plot and Raiden's design.
Upon its worldwide release in February 2013, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was well received by critics, being praised for its sophisticated cutting system, its use of Metal Gear elements to complement the story despite the game's focus on action, its soundtrack, and its boss fights; some criticism was directed at its camera mechanics and the short length of the story mode. The game also enjoyed positive sales, with the PS3 and Steam versions selling an estimated total of more than 1.2 million copies.
