Metro Last Light {part 4} 'How a waste land should look' Ranger Hardcore!!!!
LetsPlay Metro Last Light 'HARDCORE RANGER SURVIVAL' {part 4} Redux remastered version on Xbox One S. All game footage recorded using the Xbox One's built in capture function. In this episode we have just saved Pavel from the hangman's noose and have gotten out of the Nazi's concentration torcher camp. Pavel is very grateful to us and expresses what a good team we make. I think I would have to agree with him! We are now in the Metro tunnels, a familiar place coming straight from the previous game Metro 2033 (check out my playlists to find the full playthrough of Metro 2033 redux). Together we now start the dangerous journey back to our territories. Pavel decides we will drop him off first at his base station and then we will make the last bit of the journey by ourselves back to Polis. This is nothing Artyom cannot handle as he is a Metro expert survivor by this point. While navigating the tunnels we notice a lot of webbing everywhere as well as strange eggs. The webbing is thick and dense making it very slow to move through so burning as much of them away is a must. In fact keeping the lighter out the entire time is almost mandatory while traversing this section of the metro but we have a problem... The same spider like creatures are about and it just so happens we appear to have stumbled into there nesting area! They come at us relentlessly and just like before we must use our flashlight to keep them at bay until they roll over onto there backs and we can finish them off with a couple shots to the tummies. Now this time around we are actually given all the information we need to deal with these creatures by a well explained dialogue from Pavel. In fact Pavel is being extremely useful when it comes to teaching us about the Metro and how to survive. I cant help feeling this idea would have been better placed in the first game as Artyom is new to going out into the world and like the player he too doesn't know how to survive yet. Having Pavel explain what we already learned in the first game just feels a bit like the devs where expecting most people to start with Last Light and ignore Metro 2033 all together! Luckily that didn't end up being the case and we got a beautiful remastered version of it on pretty much every device. I think it may even be out for the Nintendo Switch by this point! Artyom and Pavel finally make it to the surface and holy god is it just a masterpiece of world building!! It is everything I have ever wanted a wasteland to look like! Everything from the green moss growing over everything to the eerie sunlight and they have even included a crashed airliner which for me is the ultimate post apocalyptic feature!! The whole idea of Y2K and the planes literally falling out the sky has always been a huge world ending detail for me that most game worlds do not add or they do it very poorly. Here it is perfection in every way!! I was disappointed I couldn't explore inside the enormous civilian airliner but never mind.. I am just happy it is here in the first place. Will the guys make it back home or what will be there fate? Find out in this great new episode! Anywho, thanks for watching everyone. I really hope you enjoy my videos.. I try my best to make them interesting and entertaining for you as I possibly can. I am still very very new to this YouTube thing so I can only get better which I think will happen over time. Oh and just to clear something up, I said in the video that I hadn't listened to much of what Pavel was saying but don't worry, I read all the subtitles while editing the video to keep up with the story. So if your ever worried I may have missed a really important bit because I was rambling away its okay. I catch up on anything I missed during the editing of the videos. Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE if you think my content is worth it and feel free to comment any advice, tips, tricks or things I may need for an upcoming part of the game that will help me survive better and get through it to the end. Take care and I shall see you in the next one.. CHEERS ALL
