Metro Last Light {part 6} 'The Interrogation' Ranger Hardcore Survival !!!!
5Lets Play Metro Last Light Redux and this is video part 6. All gameplay footage was captured using the Xbox Ones built in capture capability in 1080p. After the big upset that came at the end of the last episode we find ourselves as Artyom betrayed, captured and under interrogation. So all is not well at all for our dear protagonist and it is up to us (the player) to work with him and get him out of this rather frustrating pickle. Polis feels so so far away this episode when we called almost taste it during the previous one. It will turn out that one of the main interrogator's, the one that likes to do thing the "old fashioned way" has a son and his son feels very different about the methods and policies of his father and fathers regime. This turns out to our first life line as up until now we have been tied up without any seeming way of escape. After a falling out with his father the young man makes his way back into the cell Artyom is being held in and defying his father he untie us and tells us to get out of this place and points us to an open air vent atop one of the walls. So we make our escape but things are certainly not okay for us yet! We must find our way through the communists base and try not to alert to many guards and workers as there is a whole lot of them and they are very alert!! Using the environmental diversions such as shutting down the circuit breakers which instantly shuts off all the lights on that power grid helps to get from one end of a room to the other without getting seen but it is inevitable
that at some point we need to get our hands dirty and so stealth take downs are required to thin out the enemy numbers. Just so long as the bodies are not to obvious all should go smoothly! We spend the entire length of this episode trying to escape the communists as it was pretty damn tricky for me! Its this hardest difficulty setting thing that's buggering me up a bit lol. But I will manage it as I am still learning the rules and mechanics of this particular game. Even though they are mostly identical to the Metro 2033 Redux game I am finding I will have to master
certain tactics I didn't use all that much in the previous game. This is something most games will entail when playing on the hardest difficulties, all gameplay options that you could ignore on easier difficulties can no longer be ignored and are vital for getting past every encounter. I am very much enjoying the game so far though and I really appreciate the story it is telling. I am only a few hours into it and as far as story telling goes we have had everything from character arks to surprising twist outcomes!! Its very impressive and I look forwards to reading and watching everything I can about the making of the games and the history of the dev teams and there production techniques ones I have completed them all. Anywho, thanks for watching and as always I very much hope you found it enjoyable. I have been away for a couple of days to attend a wedding and so I got home late last night pretty drunk and got up this morning, mid morning, so I could get this episode made and released tonight due to not being able to upload the previous days. So as hung over as I am I did my best to put on a good performance for all of you. I just hope it was okay and didn't come across to low energy or something...
