Metro Last Light {part 1} Ranger Hardcore Rabbit... HUH???
Hello and welcome to Letsplay Metro Last Light {part 1}. I have just finished playing Metro 2033 and feel its only proper to get straight into Metro Last Light! Another big reason I decided to play Last Light strait afterwards is so that I can go into it at the hardest difficulty which is usually reserved for second or third playthroughs after playing on a much more sensible difficulty. But I read up and made sure the games play identical to each other so I would at least have a fighting chance and luckily they play exactly the same. Everything I learned in the first game should be instantly their in my brain and muscle memory.. I think I stand a fighting chance!! Oh god I really hope I don't live to regret this!! I will simply do my best and try my hardest and hopefully see the end credits eventually lol. Okay, so this episode starts out with us.. Artyom, waking up in his bedroom after having what appears to be a horrific nightmare! Our good friend Khan greets us as we get up in the only way Khan can greet us and that's with wise old man waffling's HAHA I love it! Just as we did in the first game we once again must collect our weapons and survival kit before making our way to the briefing room. Artyom is now an official member of the Order and so has privileges he didn't have in the previous game. We get to not only select what weapons we want out of a pretty large selection of military grade guns but we also get them totally free of charge! So I like that very much! Once kitting up we finally arrive at the
briefing room where Miller briefs us on capturing a lone surviving dark one from after the missile strike wiped the others out. He teams us up with Anna who seems to have a bit of an attitude problem and likes rabbits a bit to much. Maybe she likes boiling rabbits in pots in the kitchen.. Just look at her eyes BRA!! So after some fun back and forwards banter with Anna we finally arrive up at the surface. To find out what happens next you shall have to watch the video which I hope you will enjoy. So, what do I make of Last Light so far...? Well, maybe its just me but the texture resolution seems sharper and the atmospheric fog, particles, leaf's and water splash all seem much more crisper and of better quality than the first remastered Metro 2033. Maybe there is not a difference at all but to me it just all feels sharper! I very much like the vegetation and mosses have started to grow back. I love that nature taken over look you see at abandoned places. So I did like how the above ground world is a lot brighter and warmer feeling but still keeping a very apocalyptic look to balance the warmer colour and lighting. I am not a computer graphics expert in anyway so I really probably don't know what I am talking about lol. So just take my observations with a pinch of salt and from a layman that's explaining the best using the vocabulary he has lol. Anywho, on that note its time to end the description!
