So, I did some "sequence breaking" to get the Screw Attack early, and without having fought Escue (the Storm Missile boss) yet. And then I went to fight Escue, and...

Well, first of all, you can start off the fight by Shinesparking into him. I'm not sure how much damage that deals exactly, but I'm sure Escue didn't like that. After that, I just went to town on him with the Screw Attack. Oh, and the Core-X went down quickly to the Screw Attack too. I did take some collision damage from the Core-X, but the X parasites that appeared healed me right back up quickly.
