Metroid Prime: Part 24 (Vs. Thardus)
0Welcome to part 24 of my Metroid Prime Walkthrough. I'll be starting the majority of my videos from each save point.
--Our next suit upgrade will be the spider ball! Since we have the thermal visor now we can restore power to the door we passed earlier in ruined courtyard.
The pathway will lead straight to Thardus, a phazon infused rock creature.
Several stones on Thardus will be its weak point. You have to first shoot at it in the thermal visor and once you hit it enough, it will send out a energy wave that will overwhelm your thermal visor. Back in the combat visor you can now visually see its weak spot and continue firing at it until it breaks.
Thardus will throw rocks and roll around and it's pattern will become obvious enough so you can dodge its attacks.
'course you can tell I still had trouble running away from that massive lard rolling around xD
After defeating Thardus the Spiderball will be yours! With this you can now attach to the magnetic rail systems.
