Freaking love this tower enhanced music! Really different than MH3U. However, they really toned down the difficulty for both Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian in Rise. I remember in MH3U their heads were *always* armored. You had to either hit their wings or legs all the time for the win. It was a real pain in the a$$ and without wirebugs as well.

For this fight versus Silver Rathalos in MHRise, you have plenty of ways to bring him down. You can either go brute force on his tail tip (GS 55%) or his wings (GS 50%). In Rise, to make it a bit easier, they introduced a new transformation for Silver Rathalos. That transformation makes him more aggressive and powerful but *weaken* its head. I'm not sure of the percentage it does with a GS (because the game as with every MH games fails to explain vital information) but i would say 65% (GS).

There are some endemic life helpers which you can use if you need help. You can either use, straight of the bat, the sleep toad on his tail tip or wait until it transforms and use it on his head. There is one marionette spider that you can use and 2 groups of starburst bugs as well.

Silver Rathalos' elemental weakness is water and does only 10% of your total water power. If you don't want to waste your time with that minimal elemental boost, you can use a 'no elemental' weapon and focus on raw damage only. The other thing you can do is equip a thunder elemental weapon (which still does a bit of dmg to him) and hit the starburst bugs. You can then attempt to stun Silver Rathalos (he has a high resistance to stun though so you'll probably only succeed once). Another thing that is important is that Silver Rathalos' head can still be weak even if you broke him out of his transformed state. However, it is really inconsistent because sometimes it's weak and sometimes it's not. So don't put all of your money on that.

This hunt wasn't my best versus S.Rathalos but it gives you an idea on what you can do. Cutscenes start at 0:34 and Hunt starts at 1:59 Thanks for watching! :)
