Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - Head Tracking with Oculus Quest
In my opinion Head Tracking (esp on a big screen) adds much to the immersion. Being middle ground between monitor flat and full VR. This is a direct Quest capture of FS2020 running on and streamed from a cloud ShadowPC (1080 GTX, with a slightly underpowered CPU) using Virtual Desktop. Getting lowish ~ 25+ fps (see top left corner). Everything on Ultra with 120 SS, but 100 /200 terrain detail (this one is the big fps killer). Some extra stuttering is (probably) caused by the head tracking (OpenTrack) because with head tracking disabled I get a (more) fluid result. Maybe it is my network/router. I have to assume that with a tethered headset to a local PC one should be able to get better (fluid non stutter) results. The video starts with an online encounter above the New York area ...
