Microsoft Flight Simulator Update Released
Microsoft Flight Simulator has released its latest update yesterday, giving visual several countries visual improvements.
The development team behind Microsoft Flight Simulator are constantly trying to pump out visual updates for as many countries as possible. World update VI brings visual improvements to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as adding new famous locations and airports to the game.
Microsoft uses the latest satellite data and aerial data, and also work closely with regional governments to get elevation data.
This has allowed them to improve the visual style of Basel in Switzerland, Graz and Vienna in Austria, and revitalise the originally, somewhat flat looking, Alps.
This update follows in the footsteps of previous enhancements for the United Kingdom, United States, France, and several Nordic countries like Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway & Sweden.
Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator, Jorg Neumann, recently told Polygon that the original world update has proved to be the most popular, which features locations & visual improvements to Japan. His plan with world updates was to provide players an opportunity to explore a familiar environment like their home country, and get them interested in flight simming.
Microsoft Flight Simulator’s World Update VI, is available now for free.
