I've been using Microsoft's new Surface Laptop 2 as my full-time notebook to see if it's a true Macbook Air and Pro rival - can you do gaming, how's the battery life and is it worth the cash? Here's my full review of the Surface Laptop 2, including the best and worst bits.

Microsoft's Surface devices have been fully refreshed ahead of 2019, with a new Surface Go, Pro and Laptop all released in the UK this month. The Laptop 2 boasts strong specs from under £1000, including an 8th-gen Intel Core i5 or i7 chipset, backed by 8/16GB RAM. Speedy performance gives you the ability to play the latest games, although no dedicated graphics is limiting for gaming.

Windows 10 runs perfectly, complete with Windows Hello and the rest. And the Surface Laptop 2 looks as slick as ever in the new Black model, or the three other colours.
