The last incandescent light bulb in my house finally burned out, so I decided to give it a "proper" disposal.

After 20 seconds the bulb vents with a BB-sized hole; I assume a piece of filament got hot and melted through the bulb.

Yes I know my microwave is dirty; please don't comment about it.
