A chance encounter with the one they call the "Devil's Z" was enough to bring back Hiramoto's passion for speed. After sacrificing almost everything dear to him to build his "DRAGON" 32R, Hiramoto heads to the Shutokou with Akio and Tatsuya to settle things once and for all.

Strategy
[Akio - Normal] Not the hardest mission ever. Overtake Tatsuya and Hiramoto in the first set of turns, then ride off into the sunset. If Hiramoto tries to pass you, block him and continue on. The timer on this mission is not very long, so you probably won't have to block him much before reaching Ariake Straight.
[Akio - Hard] So right off the bat, if you try to drive normally, odds are Hiramoto will run right into you and cause you to fail. This is going to happen often in Hard Mode, so get used to it. Give him space or slow down like I did to prevent this.
Afterwards, just follow the Normal strategy and it should be fairly smooth sailing. Keep a close eye on Hiramoto once you reach Shinkanjou's back straight as it is more than possible for you two to bump each other and cause the mission to fail.

[Tatsuya - Normal] Same as Akio - Normal. Akio is rather aggressive during this mission and is not afraid to overtake, so drive as defensively as you can. Once you reach Ariake Straight, there won't be much time left and you can simply cruise to victory.
[Tatsuya - Hard] Tatsuya probably has the worst starting position out of all three characters here. Unlike Akio, Hiramoto is GUARANTEED to run into you if you don't move out of his way. The most reliable method I found to survive the start of this mission is to tuck in behind Akio and let Hiramoto pass.
The time you lose doing this ultimately doesn't matter since you can easily overtake them at the next two turns. Once you get past that, it's pretty standard fare. Obviously, don't block Akio on the Ariake Straight and be mindful of where your opponents are on the back straight.

[Hiramoto - Normal] Same as Akio and Tatsuya. Tatsuya will be particularly aggressive during this mission, so stay ahead of him and keep up a good defense. Once you reach Ariake Straight, hit 300km/h and the mission will end.
[Hiramoto - Hard] Hiramoto starts at the back, which works out perfectly for us during this run as it means we don't have to worry about getting rammed by Akio or Tatsuya early on. So, overtake them like usual at the first two turns. Tatsuya will be riding your ass after exiting the second turn and will likely pass you before entering the third turn, so keep an eye on his position and pass him back if you can.
Tatsuya isn't afraid to overtake much like Akio, so if you don't want to jeopardize your chances of succeeding, slow down and stay behind him on the back straight. Once you reach Ariake Straight, reach 300km/h like before. Do note that the game will not protect you from failing during any scripted sequences, so be very careful not to get rammed by Tatsuya or Akio.
