In this Demo of Midnight Saturn we get thrown right into an investigation into a murder and need to find the daughter of the victim. A lot of interrogations follow and we follow the leads, this is interesting storytelling but happens pretty straight forward. Some puzzles happen in between but they are either very obvious or not that logical, like the thing with the crab character in the background. But I have to say, the crab character looks cute!
Overall the graphics look really good and a few animations happen here and there but also some animations are left out and the screen turns black, something changes and we are back after the action happened.
Music is very fittingly chose and plays along nice with the scifi vibe.
The cliffhanger at the end of the demo is pretty cool...

Synopsis:
A grizzled private eye in a sci-fi adventure takes a murder case no one else will touch. He’s seen it all before, but nothing’s prepared him for a conspiracy that leads off-world. Something big is about to happen. Whatever it is... it goes live at midnight.

The top lawyer of showbiz is shot dead, and that’s where private eye Simm Gurnett steps in. Something’s rancid big time, so much so that even the police won’t touch the case. And for good reason: the killer is rumored to be not of this world.

The assassin is far from finished. The killing was only an opening move.
