Mighty Mike (aka Power Pete) - Classic Mac OST
4Power Pete, also known as Mighty Mike is an excellently fun arcade shooter game developed by Pangea Software in 1995 por 68K and PowerPC Macs. The game was originally released in 1995 for 68K Macs running System 7 or higher. It's distribution rights were then acquired by Apple, who used to distribute the game bundled with other software with the purchase of Performa line Macintoshes. The game was eventually re-released for PowerPC Macs running MacOS 9 in 2000, renamed as Mighty Mike.
The game sees you playing the role of the titular Mighty Mike, a toy soldier who lives in a toy department store. At night the other toys in the store start running amok and the defenseless Fuzzy Bunnies become collateral damage in their rampage. It's up to Mike then to save and protect the Fuzzy Bunnies until the next day comes.
Nowadays the source code to Mighty Mike was released as free and open source software under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 license. A source port of the game for modern macOS, Windows and Linux was developed by Iliyas Jorio.
