Saira is an atmospheric puzzle-platforming indie game released by Nicklas Nygren, aka Nifflas, for Windows XP in 2009 and developed with what was then known as the Multimedia Fusion 2 game making tool, today known as Clickteam Fusion 2.5

The game sees the player in control of the titular Saira, a hiker and photographer who gets stranded on an alien planet after using a teleporter to travel from Earth to Mars. The objective of the game is to explore a range of alien worlds in a flying saucer-like spaceship to gather the pieces needed to fix the teleporter and get back to Earth.

The game features beautiful photographic backdrops, non-linear exploration, multiple endings, and an in-game radio station you can listen to while traveling between planets. All the music in the game was composed by Nifflas and Yann van der Cruyssen.

Saira was originally sold for digital download but it is freeware nowadays. It can be downloaded alongside the soundtrack and a wallpaper pack here in Nifflas' homepage https://nifflas.ni2.se/
