Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!: Undisputed KO!
222With the Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth broadway show now under way, nobody knows whether or not it will be a knockout, but one thing's for sure: Mike Tyson can be knocked out in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! for the NES!
Here is the strategy needed to always keep Mike Tyson down for the 10 count:
As long as Mike is knocked down twice per round and fails to land a single punch on Little Mac (blocking counts as getting punched), he will not be able to get back to his feet following the sixth knockdown. Have a nice night, Mike!
However, if Little Mac happens to take damage at some point, there is still hope for a KO! by purposely getting knocked down in Round 3 and getting up at the count of 9.
If Little Mac's energy is completely refilled after getting up at 9 and he does not take any damage prior to knocking down Mike Tyson for the sixth time overall, a guaranteed KO! will still be awarded.
The player can also rely on a random chance that Mike Tyson will stay down for a KO!, as long as he or she manages to get Little Mac to knock down Mike Tyson twice per round. He will usually get up though, if Little Mac's energy is less than full, but not always, so never give up!
