Multiple people can be going down the same line and go to their destinations without any redstone lag or interfering with each others signal. It's compatible with vanilla minecraft and the xbox versions too.

This is the really basic explanation of how it all functions, I'm working on a video to show it in a much more complicated setting where it has to go up hill and down dale.
