Minecraft - How to make Lava Lamps - Demonstration Part 4/5
Part 4 - Lifters and Lava Lamps
Part 4 is designed to show some of the effects that can be created from just moving one block. The lifter can make all of the difference when a platform you want to be on is just 2 blocks high. You can also try flipping the lifter onto its side, this forms a ledge on what could otherwise be a shear drop.
The lava lamp also only needs to move one block to work. Sure you could always fill a sluice gate with lava instead of water but when you want that little bit of extra safety a lava lamp is a good choice (We take no responsibility for any inconvenience caused to players who use lava or fire near flammable materials).
