Minecraft Mod - MultiTool by NewColeco
This tool can replace an axe, a pickaxe, a shovel, a hoe and a sword... and can cut leaves like shears too. The durability and strength of the tool is based on the material used, same goes for the regular tools in Minecraft. No extra power, just a multiple tool in 1.

FAQ
- I don't like the look of this tool! Well, good for you because it's the mod I've made and I've decided that this multitool item will looks just like that.
- There is already multitool mods. I know, I've seen one that looks like a swiss-knife. So...? I'm not forcing you to use my mod, I'm proposing you one. It's up to you to try it or not.
- Why using mossy cobblestone? Because mossy cobblestone is not used in any recipes and I wanted to create an idea that needed one to be crafted. Because mossy cobblestone is relatively rare, making a multi-tool would be difficult enough to be generaly accepted by Minecraft players to be used in their games.
- Why using diamonds? For the same reason in the tools already in the game can be crafted with diamonds. You can use also 2 wooden planks, 2 cobblestones, 2 iron ingots, or 2 gold ingots. The multitool will be less durable if you use gold instead of iron or diamond, but somehow the tool will be faster to use (and it's not because I've wanted to be that way, it was something already coded in Minecraft regarding the building materials for tools).
- Why using 2 diamonds? Because the average of diamonds needed is barely above 2 diamonds for the tools this multi-tool can replace : shovel needs 1, sword needs 2, hoe needs 2, axe needs 3, pickaxe needs 3. 11 diamonds / 5 = 2.2 diamonds per tool.
- Why it can break obsidian so fast? Because I've set this tool to be able to break obsidian as well. In Minecraft source code, regular pickaxe doesn't consider obsidian as a block they can break so only the building material toughness is considered, not the efficiency of the tool. The multitool here keeps the efficiency of a pickaxe while digging obsidian, making the process much faster.
- Your mod crashes Minecraft. Really? Well, it's not supposed to... except if you didn't install ModLoader properly or if there is a conflict with another mod you already installed. If it's a mod conflict, let me know all your mods you are using to help me fix the issue in the future.

Hope you liked this video and will eventually give it a try.
Know issues : This multitool isn't effective againsts new blocks from other mods like trees made with treecapitator and fossiles from peaceful mod. However, this multi-tool can adapt to a new block if you try first to use the tool on the block instead of break it; the tool will confirmed by playing a slime sound effect.
