I realize, in time, that my markers for the Nether portals are off. I find the correct location and build up a visual blind of Netherrack due to the presence of annoying Ghasts. After placing the Obsidian and lighing the portal for the Deep Mine I travel through and discover that the Portals are linked as expected. Then I create a new Portal at the Mining Outpost. It also works! And the two Portals, standing side-by-side, reliably take me to the expected locations. Now I have fast travel from the Overworld Surface! Further upgrades will begin to make travel between my establishing Outposts much faster.

In this series there is no editing of the video and no commentary other than this video description. This Long Play features Vanilla Minecraft v1.1.
