Light Guard 2, while the name may sound dumb to most people, is actually a very thoughtful project that is both practical and useful. It's useful because of its educational value; It's practical, as shown in this video. I am replacing my older less efficient light box controller board with this new one, which now will last days continuously instead of only hours previously. The board consumes a tiny amount of power when the light is off, so this is a truly high quality battery friendly project, and so part of its original ideas is for this board to reuse older lithium batteries, a truly eco-friendly project. This video shows the complete process of replacing the older board with this newer board. This battery mini light box is bright enough to light up my small desk area, so this board is truly practical.
