Do you remember the Dinotopia books?
I don't. By the time they came out and I became aware of them I was too cool to be reading kids books. I'm sure I would have loved them though. I can certainly appreciate the artistry involved in creating them.
I did end up acquiring a few of the books for my classroom but they're a bit too advanced for my students.
I always loved the paintings of the dinos as beasts of burden, and when I saw Mini Monster Mayhem was making a set of dinosaurs, I knew I'd have to print some.
While there's some fragile parts in the luggage rack (especially the ropes) with a bit of care it should be relatively easy to keep it in one piece. I'm glad I could build the rack separate from the Ankylosaur as it would have been a major paint trying to paint everything put together.
For those who don't want one overburdened with knick- knacks, our dinosaur friend can be printed without all that gear as well.
Naturally I had to start in on one of the sauropods for traveling with this fellow. The big question is do I want to have a one- headed or three headed T-Rex at the vanguard of my caravan?
I'll let you all decide!
