Wyrd Games- The Jedza core box (for Malifaux) wanders onto the table!
Jedza the wanderer has wandered onto my tabletop. It's been a while since I've built a 3E crew so I jumped at the occasion.
Mikhail was my main objective in acquiring this set- he looks awesome and I'm a sucker for oversized swords. He'll be in good company on my shelves.
Jedza herself wasn't too bad, other than her foot not gluing on properly and that parasol being super delicate.
The lamplighters were the type of Malifaux kits that you can both frustrate and appreciate them. Lots of pointlessly little parts that probably didn't need to be separate pieces, coupled with all sorts of very thin and fragile parts. The end results look cool, there's no denying that. I have no idea how I'll transport this set outside of having to invest in magnetic carrying cases.
Surprisingly Sophie, the dead pack mule, who I thought would be the most frustrating, was one of the sturdiest. I was very hesitant building her, but in the end she was pretty straightforward. Can't complain about that!
This is also the most fantasy adjacent/ compatible crew I've come across in some time. Everyone would look just as good in a game of Frostgrave or your fantasy battler of choice. I really think this group can get a lot of tabletop traction.
I know Mikhail will be at least...
