While Dungeons & Lasers 3 is gearing up for their "rapid delivery" of already available content, I figured now would be a good time to grab one of the dragon kits Archon made during the previous campaign to check out.
Durkar ended up being a nice sized kit. Not too big, not too tiny, but just right.
The best part though- Durkar is a hard plastic model kit I get to build myself. Yay! Outside of
I didn't realize until it was too late that the flames are an optional part that can be swapped out with the tongue in his mouth. Whoops. Now you know at least!
Part removal was a bit better than the Chronicle X bosses in terms of cleanup, but was still a bit more intensive than the more current kits Archon has been helping manufacture for other companies. At least that's something to look forward to as the new models get produced- they'll be a lot easier to clean and prep.
I have to say it was a pleasant experience putting him together. I was worried about his balance but he seems quite stable. I'm quite tempted to pick up an extra dragon or two now while I've got the chance.

If you'd like to get in on the plastic goodies too, here's a link!
