Field 0x60 of CVCamera (the data structure that encapsulates a camera) is the aspect ratio. Normally, this value is either 1.4285715 for 4:3 or 1.904762 for 16:9 (1.4285715 * 1.3333334).

By changing this value to 2.3, and using the Dolphin Emulator to change the resolution accordingly, we can make the camera have a 21:9 aspect ratio!
I could only record in 30fps and not with the best quality, but trust me, if you try the code below yourself, you'll see it'll look and run very nicely!

Here's how you can try this yourself:
1. Enable the code below (depending on your region):

2. Change the width of Dolphin's window until you think it looks good. Make sure that the option "Graphics → Aspect Ratio" is set to "Stretch to Window", and that the option "Auto-Adjust Window Size" is unchecked.
