In this video, Jane Darcy almost gets caught by Clement in the lantern. He puts a note in place. Jane replaces it with HER note, and she almost gets caught by the bandits!

She goes to the place/time indicated in Clement's note, which is the old mill at six. She almost captures him, but then she doesn't. It turns out that Clement is Captain Mephisto, which is impossible, because Clement and Mephisto talked to each other in video 12.
