Seems I missed out on most of the CPS Dash (1.5) games, as this is yet another one I haven't tried before now. Based on a comic book I'm also not familiar with "Xenozoic Tales", this beat-em-up has four different characters to choose from, all with unique moves and abilities. Combos flow naturally and the inclusion of special moves is a nice touch (Down, Up, Attack), which also work in the midst of combos and grapples.

A game like this can seem very "same-y", with similar enemies across the set of stages-- but its the constant flow of moves and combos, and how you use them, that makes the game feel fresh and entertaining from start to finish IMO. Also included are character-combo moves, much like in the Simpsons arcade game. You'll want to check online for a moves list on this one, as there is a surprising amount of depth here:

While it might not be up to the level of graphical flair in games like Punisher, there is still a lot of fun to be had here. My best advice is to swap characters regularly when learning the game to experience the different mechanics of the players, and find one that fits your style best.
