MiSTer FPGA Mortal Kombat Core Is Here! Kind Of : Two New Playable Arcade Games on MiSTer
215MiSTer FPGA has a ton of arcade cores from Capcom CPS 2 on MiSTer FPGA to Neo Geo MiSTer FPGA and a ton of other options on the retro gaming side...but one of the cores everyone keeps asking me about is the Williams Midway Y Core...which includes the orignal Mortal Kombat, Smash TV and Total Carnage...some of the best Midway games ever made! Well the Mortal Kombat MiSTer FPGA core released yesterday in a VERY alpha state...but it does involve playable games so let's take a look! Maybe this is the new Impossible MiSTer FPGA N64 core...except as an arcade board! Retro Games FPGA test incoming!

The Williams Midway Y Unit core and arcade board had High Impact Football, Mortal Kombat, Smash TV, Strike Force, Super High Impact, Terminator 2 : Judgement Day, Total Carnage and Trog on it and we now have Total Carnage and Smash TV playable on MiSTer FPGA! It is manual installation only now and has NOT yet been added to MiSTer FPGA Update_All! But let's see how this MiSTer FPGA arcade core fares!
